The true test of any laser software is the quality of the shows. Pangolin's Lasershow Designer is clearly the best. It is now used in more award-winning laser art than any other software.
        In recent years of the ILDA and Brewster Awards, the vast majority of the artistic awards went to entries using LD in whole or in part.
       Also, LD was used by a much wider variety of winners than any other software. This shows that LD can benefit many companies, using a variety of artistic approaches.

Cosmic by Audio Visual Imagineering, received second place in the 2002 ILDA Awards for ISP Graphic Module.

Pangolin 15-second ID by Pangolin, received third place in the 2001 ILDA Awards for ISP Computer Animation.

Music by Audio Visual Imagineering, received third place in the 2001 ILDA Awards for ISP Graphic Module.

Rhapsody in Balloon by Laser Force, received an honorable mention in the 2001 ILDA Awards for ISP Graphic Module.

Linea by Laser Show Design, won the 2000 ILDA Award for Special Application.

Purple People Eater by Astronaut Memorial Planetarium (Brevard Community College), received third place in the 2000 ILDA Awards for ISP Graphic Module.

Striptease by MediaLas, won the 2000 Laserists' Choice Brewster Award for Graphics, and received Honorable Mention at the 1999 Pangolin Prize competition. In addition, the technology used to create Striptease, VST-1, received third place in the 1999 ILDA Awards for Technical Achievement.

Reflections by HW Lasertechnik, received second place in the 2000 Laserists' Choice Brewster Award for Beams.
World In Motion by Trick Design won the 1998 Laserists' Choice Brewster Award for Graphics.
Money by FirstLight Laser, received third place in the 1998 Laserists' Choice Brewster Award for Graphics.
Contradanza by New Wave Productions, won the 1997 Laserists' Choice Brewster Award for Best Module.

Creation by Lightspeed Design Group, won the 1996 ILDA Awards for ISP Graphic Module and for ISP Graphic Animation.
