3.10 (dated February 26, 2003, released March 4 2003):
- Added support for up to 64000
frames and 1GB of QM2000 memory.
- Added the ability for SMPTE to
start and stop the Multimedia Player.
- Added the ability to control the
size and visibility of the audio waveform timeline.
- Added the ability for Showtime and
Autoplay to output serial data and also added Serial Output
Settings dialog box.
- Added the ability to play the show from the current
cursor position when you press the SPACE bar.
- Added the ability to save and
recall your favorite window positions within Showtime.
- Made a few changes to enhance the
speed of the LD2000 Network. In particular, the startup,
shutdown and palette training process should be much faster.
- Fixed bug related to multi-scanner
and multi-zone use with masking.
- A variety of other minor
enhancements and bug fixes.
Release 2.50 (dated July 30 2002, released July 30, 2002):
- Added 'View/Enhanced Reality
Preview' menu to the Laser Preview Window. This can be used to
give a near-perfect computer representation of both beams and
graphics.
- Added some additional options when
saving a show as a series of ILDA frames.
- Added the ability to assign the
Projection Zone assignments to all tracks in the Track
Properties dialog box.
- Enhanced the capabilities of the
Show-to-AVI process. This now supports shows made with
multiple scanners.
- A variety of other minor
enhancements and bug fixes.
Release 2.31 (dated February 5 2002, released February 27 2002):
- Final release of the enhanced
timeline system that was previously in BETA testing. This is a major enhancement which includes
a new WAV file viewer, ability to select/cut/copy/paste/move
multiple events, unlimited undo/redo and a whole lot more.
- Added a
new feature that allows you to export a show as an AVI file.
This feature was used to create the Videos of shows seen at
the Pangolin meetings.
- Enhanced the capability of the Add
Frame Offset facility used when combining shows. Now Live!
references and Abstracts are properly handled.
Release 1.62 (dated August 22 2001, released August 27 2001):
- Added a single-level Undo
to the Timeline Editor.
- Added the ability to see
little icons of the frames in the timeline.
- Added the ability for
Showtime to automatically set the start an end frames of an animation, when you drag a frame from the framelist.
- Added a new animation
method called 'Limited refresh-based animation'.
- Added the ability to use
LaserScroll with all refresh-based animations.
- Added the ability to
specify the projection zone in Live! when doing animations or scrolling text. For example, you can now direct
animations or scrolling text to a different scanner if desired. This even
allows you to output to multiple zones and multiple scanners.
- Added the ability to show
icons in Live! as regular graphics or as audience scanning beams.
- Added Master Position X and
Master Position Y Sliders to Live!
- Added the ability to could
adjust parameters by dragging the mouse in the Effect Preview window. This is particularly handy for
rotation, position and color change effects.
- Added 'Rotation center' and
'Secondary Rotation' actions to the Effect Editor.
- Added more options to the
'Hue Offset' and 'Visible Points' actions in the Effect Editor.
- Added the ability to
write/Erase of vector oriented frames
- Drastically improved the
real-time morphing to allow for much smoother color changes and scan rate changes.
Release 1.32 (dated October 11 2000, released November 1
2000): Major changes to Showtime's Multimedia
Player: Play more audio types, including MP3 files. Play video
types, including AVI, MPG, and MOV files. (If you have any
problems playing these new types, click
here for more information.) Added the ability to
select which CD player to use, when you have more than one CD
drive in your computer. Added 4 beam shows
and 2 graphics shows: "Again!" and "Special!FX"
from Peter Heyt, "Duel of the Fates" from Johannes Coppes,
"Reflections" from Holger Walter,
"Atlantis" from Jason Mariani-Taylor and
"Purple People Eater" from Mark Howard.
Release 1.31 (October 10 2000): Fixed a bug in the
timeline editor which would cause an error if you cut and
pasted a scene-level event in Windows 2000.
Release 1.30 (October 1 2000): Added Web publishing
feature, so you can publish a block of frames to a website or
to a printer. Added enhanced file dialogs to show previews
and information about LD files and bitmaps. Fixed a bug in the
Effect Editor which would sometimes cause the list of actions
to be jumbled. Fixed a bug in Live! that would cause an error
if you allow Live! to automatically assign keys to a show with
more than 48 scenes. Fixed a bug which would cause an error
message when Showtime starts up on certain laptop computers.

1.21 (dated July 3 2000, released August 23 2000): Added
clipart browse/search function -- find frames much more easily
than before. Added new Showtime 2000-specific help files. Added
200 different DMX frames (devices) programmed by Richard
Gonsalves of Production Design International, representing 34
manufacturers selling 145 fixtures with up to 6 operating
modes per fixture. Added readouts and reset buttons to the
Geometric Correction section of the Projector Settings.
Extended the capability of the Show Description field, when
creating and editing a Show. Fixed a bug related to Master
Size and Master Position in LD Intro.
Release 1.20 (June 20 2000): Added additional
definitions to DMX color wheel action.
Release 1.19 (June 12 2000): Fixed a bug in Live! which
would sometimes play part of a multimedia wave file on cues
that were not supposed to have multimedia. Fixed a bug in
Live! which would reset the size parameters if you paused
playback and rotated the cue wheel on the Lasershow Performer
console.
Release 1.18 (June 9 2000): Changed the way Showtime
communicates with the Lasershow Performer console for better
operation on international versions of Windows.
Releases 1.16 and 1.17 (May 2-10 2000): Fixed a minor
bug causing synchronized show timing to drift under some
circumstances. Fixed a minor bug in DMX wizard. Changed
Palette editor slightly to track down a bug. Changed a few
error messages related to installation of the QM2000 device
driver.

editing DMX devices.

1.14 (April 7 2000): Added a "Save Reminder"
dialog, if you try to exit Showtime without saving your show
or frame file. Added "Save All Frames" menu to the
Frame List. Added "Goto/ Last active frame" menu
item to the Frame List. Improved the DMX Device editor.
Improved internal DMX support for Startup and Shutdown values.
Added slew rate control to each DMX channel.

1.13 (March 18 2000): Changed the way the Stop button
functions in the Multimedia player; when you press stop, the
selected track remains instead of returning to track 1. Fixed
a bug in Live! which prevented spacebar tap sync from working.
