ILDA 2001 Cancelled, Pangolin Meeting still
happening
As you may have heard, the 2001 ILDA Meeting has been cancelled, partially due to the tragic events of September 11. This announcement left a void in the hearts of many laserists, as it seemed that the perpetrators had affected our lives in yet another way. After some mourning and reflection, we at Pangolin are determined to remain positive and continue to move forward.
Pangolin Meetings:
Since the Pangolin Meeting typically was held in
conjunction with the ILDA meeting, this
left a dilemma of what to do. After much consideration and consultation with Pangolin users, we have decided to hold two
(separate but complete) Pangolin Meetings.
The first Pangolin Meeting will be held Monday November 5 -- the day
after the Lighting Dimensions
International conference. The second Pangolin Meeting will be held Monday November 12 -- what would have
been the second day of the ILDA
conference. Both Pangolin meetings will be held at the Pangolin World Headquarters in Orlando.
