How to control a laser from your phone

BEYOND has many tools and features, however there is one that people are commonly unaware of, OSC. In short, OSC is a communication protocol that can be used as a way to communicate between your lasers and BEYOND, as well as other applications such as Ableton, Cubase, and Resolume.

For laser show designers, having to take a bunch of hardware on the go can really be a pain, but most everyone owns a mobile phone, and with the simple app TouchOSC, you can take full control of your lasers inside of BEYOND all from your mobile phone.

Using TouchOSC, you can adjust parameters such as your position, rotation, color / hue, and you can customize your own design to make it just the way you like it. For laser designers, this opens up a world of opportunity, and customization.
